Taxis can be caught from outside the terminal building; typical fares are 3545 EUR to Albufeira. Buses can also be caught outside the terminal building. Aerobus provides a shuttle service between the airport and city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season. Buses can be caught from here to Albufeira; the bus stop is just across the road from the hotel Car hire is also available at the airport.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs to highway A22 in the direction of Portimao. Follow this road until the signs for Albufeira, exit the highway and join the N 125. Follow signs to the city centre (centro) and turn left at the intersection with the traffic lights. Follow the main road until the Globes roundabout, turn right and follow the road until the Palm Trees roundabout. Turn left and the hotel is 100 metres on the left.
The beaches and town centre can be easily reached on foot. The surrounding areas are best explored by scooter, which can be hired locally, or by hire car.
