Driving directions from Faro Airport: Follow signs to Hwy N 125 and go west in the direction of Portimão. Proceed for approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) to signs pointing to Portimão and Loulé. Turn toward Portimão and proceed for approximately 3 km (1.75 miles) to signs for Almancil. Turn toward Almancil and proceed into town. Follow signs pointing to Vale do Garrão and Vale do Lobo until the road ends. Turn right. Turn left at second road marked by large sign for hotel. Proceed approximately 2.5 km (1.5 miles) to arch with sign for Vale do Garrão and turn right. Hotel entrance is the second opening between hedges on the left.
Getting there: Rental cars are available online. Taxis and vans for up to eight passengers are available at the airport.
Getting around: Rental bicycles are available at the hotel. From May through October, complimentary shuttle service is available to the beach 800 meters (875 yards) from the hotel.
