Getting there: Taxis are available from outside arrivals and charge €30 to the centre of Funchal. The Aerobus departs for Funchal every 30 minutes and a single ticket is €5. Local buses also run to the city centre. Alternatively, the hotel can arrange transport to and from the airport (surcharge). All prices subject to change.
Getting around: Funchal has an efficient public bus network which also connects to surrounding area. A car would be useful for exploring the island beyond Funchal.
