Getting there: Taxis are available from outside arrivals and charge approximately €35 to the hotel. Transfers can be arranged by the hotel for €57 per car and per trip, with a 20 percent supplementary charge between 10pm and 7am. The Aerobus departs for Funchal every 30 minutes and a single ticket is €5. Local buses also run to the city centre. All prices subject to change.
Getting around: Funchal has an efficient public bus network which also connects to surrounding area. A car would be useful for exploring the island beyond Funchal.
