Getting there: Shuttle buses can be organised directly to the hotel for a surcharge. Line E (violet) on the Porto Metro system connects the airport with the city centre; a single ticket costs €1.35. The airport station is located in front of the arrivals zone. Upon reaching Trinidade station, change for the yellow line. Head in the direction of Joao Deus, alighting at Sao Bento station. Buses also run every 20-30 minutes to city centre. A taxi to the city centre is approximately €20. All prices subject to change.
Getting around: Porto has an efficient and modern metro system which runs from 6 AM until midnight. Bus and tram services also operate throughout the city and a single ticket allows travel by metro, bus, and train. Local and intercity trains connect Porto with destinations throughout Portugal.
