Oporto Airport (OPO): Approximate driving time to Vila Gale Porto is 30 minutes and distance is 15 kilometres (9 miles).
The hotel can arrange a private transfer (surcharge) from the airport. Alternatively a taxi to the hotel costs about €25. The Aerobus runs from the airport to many hotels in Porto every 30 mins and costs about €2.50 – the bus stop is 50 metres from the hotel. Trains also run from the airport to a station 1 kilometre from the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport follow signs to IC 1 – Porto. Take the VCI – Freixo exit, then the Antas exit. Continue along the same road until a garden called Praça Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro / Praça Velasquez. At the traffic lights on the right turn right. Drive down Carlos Malheiro Dias Street and turn left at the first traffic lights. Drive to the end of this street (Rua de Santos Pousada). Turn left before the last traffic lights and go round the garden (Campo 24 de Agosto) on your left.
The city can be explored by bus or metro.
