Taxis can be caught from outside the terminal building; typical fares are €65-80 to Lagos. Buses can also be caught outside the terminal building. Aerobus provides a shuttle service between the airport and city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season.
Driving directions: From Faro airport follow the signs to the A22. Join the motorway signed Lisboa, Albufeira & Portimão. The motorway (A22) will take you to Lagos. At the end of the motorway you must take exit Lagos / Vila Do Bispo (1). Exit the motorway and follow the signs to Vila Do Bispo. Turn right at the roundabout for about 2.5 kilometres. At the third set of traffic lights turn left to LUZ. Turn left at the village square at the end of road. The hotel’s 24-hour reception is approximately 200 metres along on your left.
Lagos is best explored on foot; a car is recommended for exploring the Algarve.
