Getting there: Line E (violet) on the Porto Metro system connects the airport with the city centre; a single ticket costs €1.35. The airport station is located in front of the Arrivals’ zone. Santo Ovideo station is five kilometres from the hotel. Buses also run every 20-30 minutes to city centre. A taxi to the city centre is approximately €15-€20, and to Novotel Porto Gaia, is approximately €20. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the route towards Lisboa or Ponte da Arrábida, and exit at Gaia – Afurada.
Getting around: Porto has an efficient and modern metro system which runs from 6 AM until midnight. Bus and tram services also operate throughout the city and a single ticket allows travel by metro, bus, and train. Local and intercity trains connect Porto with destinations throughout Portugal.
