Rooms
Prado do Golf offers 44 apartments and villas in white, flat-roofed buildings. Apartments and villas are identically decorated and furnished and feature white walls and ceilings, gray tile floors, built-in shelves holding pottery, and twin-sink bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Fully equipped with dishes and pots/pans, kitchenettes include four-burner ranges, compact refrigerators, and toasters. Housekeeping is provided twice weekly.
Apartments and villas do not have air conditioning. Thick walls help keep units cool in summer, and louvered doors and shutters permit air circulation. During cool winter months, walls heaters in bedrooms and living/dining rooms provide warmth. Each unit also includes a fireplace in the living/dining room.
Apartments are in two-story buildings and include either a ground-floor patio or second-floor balcony, while villas are one-story and include ground-floor patios. Apartments are slightly larger than villas.

Faro (FAO) Airport: Approximate driving time is 25 minutes and distance is 20 kilometers (12.2 miles).
Driving directions from Faro Airport:
Stay in right-hand lane leaving airport car park and take the short slip road on the right-hand side of the roundabout to join the main road, passing several car hire companies. Take the third exit off this road, sign posted Portimao and Loule (takes you over the dual carriageway beneath). You then join the dual carriageway which becomes the EN125 and after approximately five or six km you will see signs for Almancil on the right-hand side; take this road (DO NOT FOLLOW SIGNS TO LOULE). The Vilamoura turning is approximately 20 minutes drive along the EN125. You will come to a set of traffic lights where you should stay in the left-hand lane at lights. Continue straight through the first roundabout and take the last exit off the second roundabout, following the signs to Old Course at both roundabouts. At next roundabout take the first exit and Prado do Golf is on the left.
A taxi from the airport costs approximately 30-35 euros (US$38-$44, depending on the euro-dollar exchange rate). Car rentals are available online.
Agencies will deliver rental bicycles and motor scooters to guests at Prado do Golf. Public bus service (fees charged) runs through the Vilamoura development, going as far within Vilamoura as Marina Beach, as well as connecting Vilamoura to the city of Faro (east) and the town of Albufeira (west). Prado do Golf guests wishing to reach Falésia Beach can take the public bus to the town center and walk one km (0.5 mile) to the beach or catch a wheeled train from the town center to the beach (surcharge).
